pay a visit: 방문하다, 찾아가다
look up: 찾아보다
우리가 ‘찾다’라고 할 때에 look이 가장 빨리 생각나겠지만 더 구체적으로 ‘방문하다’ ‘찾아가다’ 라고 말할 때는 pay a visit이라고 말합니다. Look it up on the dictionary, Look up on the Internet등 이러한 표현은 자료를 찾을 때 쓰는 표현입니다.
