Mijin: I heard that the U.S. government reads everyone`s email. Is that true?
Peter: No way. Our privacy rights are protected by the 4th amendment, so no one can read your email without good reason.
Mijin: That`s interesting.
Peter: However, people suspect the U.S. government might want to do this in the future, so you just never know. There are programs out there that can read mass amounts of email now.
Mijin: Wow, that`s a scary thought.
미진: 미국 정부가 모든 사람의 이메일을 읽는다고 들었는데 그게 사실이야?
피터: 절대 아니지. 우리의 사생활에 대한 권리는 헌법 수정 제4조에 의해 보호 받기 때문에 타당한 이유 없이는 아무도 다른 사람의 이메일을 읽을 수 없지.
미진: 흠, 흥미롭다.
피터: 하지만 사람들은 미정부가 앞으로는 그렇게 할 지도 모른다고 의심하고 있어. 모르지 뭐, 진짜 그렇게 할 지. 현재 대량의 이메일을 읽을 수 있는 프로그램들이 나와 있거든.
미진: 와. 무서운 생각이다.
